Petcurean Donates 18,431 Meals to Animal Shelters to Aid Disaster Relief Efforts | Industry News

Petcurean donates 18,431 dog and cat food meals to more than 10 communities and pet food banks and rescues across British Columbia. The donation was made possible with the support of Petcurean’s distribution partners, Petslink and Anipet Animal Supplies, and comes in the wake of widespread flooding and mudslides that have devastated communities across the province, including the Fraser Valley where Petcurean is headquartered. 

Additionally, Petcurean has provided financial aid to local charities within the community in light of the recent natural disasters including the Abbotsford Disaster Relief fund and a GoFundMe, Help Our BC Farm Families, to support the welfare of affected farm animals in Abbotsford. With 18,431 pet food meals donated, Petcurean has been able to provide support to more than 10 communities in need across the province, including: 

● 7,000 meals donated to the Kelowna Pet Food Bank to support pets in the communities of Merritt, Kamloops, Kelowna, Cache Creek, Penticton, Boston Bar and Lytton

● 3,500 meals donated to the Langley Animal Protection Society to support pets in the Fraser Valley 

● 4,431 meals donated to the Chilliwack Pet Food Bank to support pets in Chilliwack and Agassiz

● 3,500 meals donated to Aide for Paws Rescue Society to support pets in Hope
