Jas spoke directly to the trainer, saying “You’re a coward, bro!” He explained that, as a trainer himself, this sort of behavior puts a black eye on the whole field of dog training — and he hopes the authorities in Texas

    Manhunt underway for 3 suspects accused of killing man trying to recover stolen dogs in Texas

    A manhunt is underway in Texas for three suspects accused of murdering a man after stealing his friend’s dogs. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez took to social media Wednesday to say three suspects allegedly stole multiple dogs from a breeder or kennel, and then contacted the owners about returning the dogs in exchange for a reward.  Deputies say the dog owner and his friend then met up with the suspects for the exchange just before 6 p.m. Tuesday at a gas station on the northeast side of Houston.     ABERDEEN, UNITED KINGDOM — Wood, a consulting and engineering firm, has entered a contract with DSM Nutritional Products, Inc., a Netherlands-based ingredient manufacturer for health, nutrition and biotech applications, to upgrade DSM’s carotenoid factory in Freeport, Texas. The agreement builds on Wood’s previous support for DSM projects in other regions but will be the first operations-focused project Wood will support for DSM in the southern United States.     Texas Biomed breaks ground on animal care complex

    Texas Biomedical Research Institute broke ground this week on a new facility that will allow them to breed more nonhuman primates for medical research amid a nationwide shortage of the animals. The four building complex — including an 18,000 foot animal care building — will be part of the Southwest National Primate Research Center. “This is a huge project for Texas biomed” said SNPRC’s director, Deepak Kaushal.
